The Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team poured in 12 first-half goals while four players recorded hat tricks in a 20-5 victory over Arcadia in the team's home opener.

The Mules (1-1) outscored Arcadia 18-2 after going down 3-2 six minutes into the game. Muhlenberg then scored seven consecutive goals over the next 11 minutes and the defense only allowed three shots and one goal in the second half.
Muhlenberg dominated on draw controls as well, gaining a 22-5 advantage over the Knights (2-1) for the game. Starting with a draw control for sophomore
Morgan Weiss (pictured above), the Mules won 10 straight draws in the first half to help propel their 7-0 run. As a team, Muhlenberg assisted on 14 of its 20 goals, tied for the fourth most in a single game in school history.

Nora Fisher led the Mules with a career day of three goals and three assists, setting career highs for points and assists while recording her fifth career hat trick. Senior
Stephanie D'Ascoli, junior
Jordy Bonvini and sophomore
Amanda Tullo joined Fisher in scoring three goals, with Bonvini and Tullo each also netting two assists and D'Ascoli assisting one goal. Tullo's five points in the game gave her a new personal best.

Bonvini played a primary role in the Mules' draw control advantage, as she set a career high with 13 draw controls which tied for the fourth most in a game by a Mule. She also moved into fourth place on Muhlenberg's career draw controls list with 125 in only 36 games.

Senior
Kelsey Nagle also totaled five points, assisting on three goals while scoring two. Her three assists gives her 90 for her career, moving her into third in school history and into the top 20 on the Centennial Conference all-time list. Nagle now has 154 points in her career, which is 14th all-time for Muhlenberg.

Alex Hyatt each added two goals and freshman
Emma Charron scored her first career goal to go with an assist. Sophomore
Emma Carmody also netted her first goal of the season.

Morgan Lukaszewicz assisted on Hyatt's first goal while freshman
Courtney Allen recorded her first career point, assisting on the Mules' final goal of the game.

Defensively, senior
Sara Allison saved four shots. Fisher led the Mules with two ground balls while also causing two turnovers. Charron and freshman
Gabriella Crivelli also caused two turnovers apiece.

It was the 31st time the Mules have reached 20 goals in a game, last doing so against Arcadia in last year's matchup. Muhlenberg has had at least one game with 20 goals in each season since 2007.
