Mules vs. Dickinson

Series: Muhlenberg has won the last 13 meetings to extend its all-time series lead to 51-25-2. Dickinson’s last series win, 17-16 here in 2009, is also its only win in Allentown in the 2000s. The Mules haven’t allowed more than 21 points to the Red Devils since 2008, and of the four times they’ve hit the 60-point mark since 2010, two came against Dickinson: 61-21 in 2012 and 72-7 in 2016.
Last Year: Muhlenberg scored 21 points in each half, opening up a 35-7 lead before the Red Devils scored a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns, in a 42-21 win in Carlisle. The Mule defense stood out particularly against the second-leading rushing team in the Centennial Conference. Muhlenberg allowed only 80 yards (30 of which came on one scramble) on 24 carries and held the CC’s leading rusher to 24 yards on 14 carries. Joe Repetti led the offense with five touchdowns, completing 16 of 19 passes for 234 yards and four touchdowns and rushing for a game-high 63 yards and another score. Presley Egbers threw for 202 yards and all three Dickinson touchdowns.
Dickinson Last Week: Dickinson allowed only 122 total yards in recording its second shutout of the season, 24-0 against McDaniel. The Green Terror took only four snaps on the Red Devil side of the field in the entire game. Presley Egbers threw for 189 yards and all three Dickinson touchdowns, while Diante Ball gained 127 yards on only 17 carries for his 14th career 100-yard game.
Muhlenberg Last Week: Muhlenberg hit the half-century mark for the third straight home game in a 58-42 win against Gettysburg. Matthew Manning recorded his first career 100-yard game, rushing for 102 on only 13 carries, two of which went for touchdowns. Christopher Ardito caught a pair of scoring passes, and Christopher Short returned a kickoff 83 yards for a TD.
100/0: There have been four games played by CC team this season with a combined 100 points or more, and Muhlenberg has been involved in three of them. The Mules lead the CC and rank 10th in Division III in both total offense (511.0 ypg) and passing offense (314.0 ypg). They also are 20th in the country in scoring, averaging 44.7 ppg ... There have been two shutouts by CC teams this season - both by Dickinson. The Red Devils allow only 18.7 points per game.
Returns: Christopher Short is only the second player in Muhlenberg history - the first since 2016 - to return two kickoffs for touchdowns in the same season. His 693 yards on kickoff returns are the second-most in a season in program history (the record is 981) and lead not only Division III, but all of NCAA football..
Records: Joe Repetti has thrown multiple touchdown passes in 19 consecutive games and rushed for a TD in eight of his last 11 games. He’s closing in on the school records for rushing yards by a quarterback (1,472; he has 1,422) and rushing touchdowns by a QB (24; he has 22).
Home Sweet Home: Muhlenberg is 29-5 at Scotty Wood Stadium since 2018.

Welcome Tartans: The Centennial Conference recently announced the addition of Carnegie Mellon University as an associate member for football. The Tartans will begin competition in the Centennial in the 2025 football season. The addition of Carnegie Mellon, currently ranked 15th in Division III, will expand the Centennial's football membership to eight teams. The Tartans will compete alongside the seven CC full-time members that sponsor football - Dickinson, Franklin & Marshall, Gettysburg, Johns Hopkins, McDaniel, Muhlenberg and Ursinus.
