One goal early and one goal late sent the Muhlenberg women's soccer team to a 2-0 loss at Gettysburg.
The Mules (4-3-1, 0-2) spent most of the game playing from behind after the Bullets (3-3-2, 1-1-1) headed in a cross in the eighth minute.
The score remained 1-0 for most of the remainder of the game. Senior
Megan Stairs kept Muhlenberg within a goal by diving to her right to save a penalty kick in the 87th minute, but Gettysburg eventually tacked on an insurance goal in the final minute.
Stairs finished with 8 saves.
