Field Hockey Drops Centennial Opener

Playing in chilly, rainy conditions, the Muhlenberg field hockey team dropped its Centennial Conference opener at Swarthmore, 2-0.

The Garnet (5-3, 1-0), ranked 24th in Division III, scored off of penalty corners in the second and third quarters. 

Sophomore Brenna Fitzpatrick had a big game in goal to keep the score close, making 12 saves.
