Muhlenberg athletes are spending the summer of 2026 enjoying fantastic experiences on campus, in their hometowns, across the country, and even around the world.

Senior women's lacrosse major Audrey Cronk, a public health major, reinforced her desire to help people and make a positive impact by interning at a mental healthcare facility.

My time as an administrative intern at West Bergen Mental Healthcare has been an incredibly meaningful part of my journey in public health.

As a public health major at Muhlenberg, I've been able to connect what I've learned in the classroom, specifically about public health policy, healthcare systems, and the laws that shape patient care, to real experiences in a mental healthcare setting. I've also brought the teamwork, discipline, and communication skills I've developed as a collegiate athlete into my work every day.

Most importantly, this experience has proved why I chose public health in the first place. I genuinely love helping people and making a positive impact.

Seeing the work that happens behind the scenes to support patients and communities has taught me so much and has made me even more excited to pursue a career where I can continue making a difference.
