In its last game before leaving for Spring Break in Texas, the Muhlenberg baseball team fell at Scranton, 7-3.
The game was tied at 3-all heading into the bottom of the seventh, but the Royals (4-2) scored the tie-breaking run in the seventh and tacked on three more in the eighth.
Three Mule pitchers combined to strike out 12 hitters. Sophomore
Jason Ugalde (pictured above) fanned seven in four innings in his second career start.
Junior
Spencer Hobson led the offense by going 3-for-4, including a two-out, two-run single in the third. Sophomores
Mike Carcich and
Sean Habeeb added a pair of hits apiece.
