Game Recap: Women's Lacrosse |

Women's Lacrosse Scores 22 Again

The Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team continued to pour on the goals, remaining undefeated with a 22-2 win against Potsdam in Hilton Head.

The Mules (6-0) reached the 20-goal mark for the fifth time this season, needing only six games to tie the school record for 20-goal games in a season, set in 2010.

Coming on the heels of a 22-6 win against Berry two days earlier, the latest outburst marked the first time ever that Muhlenberg topped 21 goals in consecutive games. Entering the season, the Mules had scored more than 21 goals in a game only five times in their history.

The 20-goal margin of victory tied a school record, achieved four times previously, most recently in 2022. The 44 total goals in back-to-back games broke the school record of 43 set two years ago in Hilton Head.

Fifteen different players scored the 22 goals against Potsdam, led by senior Ellie Armbruster and junior Emma Youngling with three apiece.

Armbruster (pictured above) scored twice in the second quarter and once in the fourth in recording her first career hat trick.

Sophomore Kim Curcio recorded a career-high four points on two goals and two assists, and classmate Maggie Tratnyek scored twice for her first career multiple-goal game.

Freshman Katie Callahan netted her first career goal, assisted by classmate Meghan Stodden, who notched her first career point.
