The Muhlenberg volleyball team finished 3-1 at the Buttermaker Tournament, wrapping up with a 3-0 sweep of Hunter after falling in four sets to Randolph-Macon.
After dropping the first two sets against Randolph-Macon, the Mules (6-5) made a bid to force a fifth set. They won the third set, 25-18, and were a point away from winning the fourth before the Yellow Jackets rallied for a 26-24 win to close out the match.
Senior
Christina Marcin, who surpassed the career milestone of 750 kills during the tournament, led Muhlenberg with 13 kills against Randolph-Macon. Sophomore
Emma Laskaj started at libero and finished with a career-high 15 digs, while sophomore
Maddy Budris recorded 11 assists and 3 service aces.
Junior
Jenny Ryan contributed 15 assists and 11 digs for her second double-double of the season.
Muhlenberg scored the first four points of the Hunter match and remained in control, trailing only for a small portion of the second set.Â
The Mules featured a balanced attack against the Hawks, with sophomore
Abigail Oswari notching 8 kills and Marcin, sophomore
Olivia Bruno and freshman
Andrea Romero-Agosto landing 7 apiece. The defense, meanwhile, held Hunter to a negative hitting percentage.

Bailey Crampton established career highs in assists (13), digs (5) and aces (3).
