For the second straight season, the Muhlenberg men's soccer team opened its season with a scoreless draw against Alvernia.

The Mules had the better of play in the second half, taking seven shots to only two for the Golden Wolves, but were not able to find the back of the net. 

Muhlenberg's back four of senior Jack Scuro, junior Sam Roberts, and sophomores Mack Metcalf and Luke Blenis (making his first career start) helped hold Alvernia to just one shot on goal.

Senior Ben Mulford (pictured above) saved that one shot in recording his 21st career shutout.
