The Muhlenberg baseball team rallied in the late innings but fell at Swarthmore, 11-6.
The first-place Garnet (19-13, 10-1) scored in each of the first three innings and led 7-1 through five. The Mules (14-16, 4-6) drew closer on a two-run single by freshman
Chris Moglia (pictured above) in the sixth, then closed to within one with three in the seventh.

Spencer Hobson brought in the first run with his second RBI single of the game, and two more runs came in on a wild pitch, with sophomore
Marc Quarrie coming in all the way from second when the Swarthmore catcher had trouble locating the ball.Â
Swarthmore scored four runs in the bottom of the eighth to put the game out of reach.
Sophomore
Charlie Siper gave the Mules strong long relief, throwing four innings and allowing only two hits and one run.
