The Muhlenberg softball team was swept at 23rd-ranked Moravian in its final games before beginning Centennial Conference play.
The Mules (12-8) managed only seven hits in dropping the first game, 4-1, and the second game, 11-1.
Freshman
Ava Storlazzi scored Muhlenberg's run in the first game after getting hit by a pitch for the fourth time this season. She went to second on the second single of the game by junior
Scooter Hulsen and came in on a two-out single by sophomore
Lillie Teague.
The Mules took a 1-0 lead in the first inning of the second game without the benefit of a hit. Hulsen drew a one-out walk, went to third on a pair of wild pitches and scored on a groundout. The Greyhounds (14-4) responded with seven runs in the bottom of the inning.
