For the first time in her career, Muhlenberg senior
Kaya Mahy was named Centennial Conference softball player of the week.
Mahy went 6-for-7 with six runs scored in the Mules' doubleheader sweep at King's. She had three hits, including a double, and three runs scored in each game, adding her fifth home run of the season in the opener.
Muhlenberg scored in eight innings in the two games, and Mahy was involved in the rally in six of them. Her slugging percentage for the week was 1.571, and her on-base percentage was .875.
Mahy is tied for the CC lead with her five home runs, and she is only the second player in program history to slug at least five home runs in back-to-back seasons.
