The Muhlenberg men's golf team recorded two of its lowest rounds of the year at the Dickinson Spring Invitational.
The Mules, who tied for 12th, scored a 325 in the first round and improved by six strokes to 319 in the second. Their only lower round this year was a 317 at Dickinson in the fall.
Junior
Alex McCauley (pictured above) led Muhlenberg with a 155 over 36 holes. He tied his season low by shooting a 2-over-par 74 in the first round, when he shot a birdie on the third hole and made par on 14 of the 18 holes. Â
Junior
Charlie Kerprich improved by five strokes from 81 to 76 in the second round. He recorded back-to-back birdies on 17 and 18 - two holes that he double bogeyed in the first round -Â on the second day of the tournament. Kerprich, whose 76 was a season low, also birdied the eighth hole in the first round.
Senior
Joe Repetti showed the greatest improvement on the second day, lowering his score from 87 to 79. Although he shot two birdies in the first round (on holes 7 and 15), he was more consistent in the second, adding a birdie on 3.Â
Sophomore
Ryan Tasetano (169) and freshman
Justin Edwards (173) rounded out the Mules' five.
