Individual champions at 125 and 141 highlighted a strong day of wrestling for the Muhlenberg men's team at the Scotty Wood Invitational.

Fourteen Mules won at least one contested bout, and 12 recorded multiple wins.

Junior CJ Horvath took the 125-pound weight class, reaching the final with a pair of technical falls. The championship contest was a tight bout that featured only two escapes until Horvath's Elizabethtown opponent picked up his second stalling call with 15 seconds left for the decisive point in a 2-1 final.

Junior Andrew Loniewski breezed to his third career tournament title at 141 with two major decisions and a pin. Loniewski conceded only an escape point in each of his two majors. He was taken down a minute into his semifinal bout, but rebounded with takedowns in the second and third periods before pinning his opponent in the final minute. 

Senior Trey Miletics (pictured above) also went undefeated on the day, recording a technical fall and major decision in his two bouts at 157 before bowing out of the tournament.

Freshman Eoghan O'Hara advanced to the final at 149, starting off his tournament run with a pair of first-period pins. Sophomores Charles Levine (157) and Lucas Velando (174) and junior Nick Stump also won three bouts apiece. Levine recorded two pins and a technical fall, Velando won one bout on a takedown in overtime and another on a reversal in the closing seconds of regulation, and Stump notched all of his wins by pin.
