The Muhlenberg women's soccer team played even with nationally ranked Swarthmore for the vast majority of the second half of a 2-0 loss.
The Garnet (9-1-2, 5-0), ranked 15th in Division III, scored two goals in a span of a little more than five minutes of game time, one late in the first half and one 28 seconds into the second half.
Swarthmore had a 17-2 advantage in shots at that point, but it was the Mules (3-8-1, 0-4) who had a 6-5 edge for the rest of the game as the possession evened up. Muhlenberg was unable to put one in, however, against a stingy Garnet defense that has allowed only five goals all season.

Dani Klingener made eight saves for the Mules.
