The Muhlenberg Mules stormed all the way back from a late five-point deficit to take the first set 30-28 but then fell in straight sets to the visiting Haverford Fords.

The Mules found themselves down 21-16 in that first bout but were not deterred, ripping off four points in a row punctuated by a pretty kill from the right arm of Andrea Romero-Agosto. The Fords would take the next two to go up by three before the hosts scored four straight once more. The final three points were all attack errors caused by some excellent Muhlenberg defense. The two Centennial Conference foes then traded points until Abigail Oswari put away two straight kills to win the set.

Christina Marcin was one of the driving forces in that set one victory, totaling a team-high six kills without an error. She would finish the match with a Muhlenberg-best 16 putaways, one off her season high of 17 set on August 29 against DeSales. It is the fourth time this year she's had more than 15 kills and the 11th time she's reached double figures.

Emma Laskaj served as the libero for the first few sets of this match and set a career-high in digs with 17 in the process. That number was also the highest on the Mules. With 73 digs this season, she's already matched her total from 2024 in 23 fewer sets.
