Despite another big game from junior
Maddie Schwartz, the Muhlenberg field hockey team fell at Bryn Mawr, 2-0.
Schwartz
(pictured above) made a career-high 15 saves, topping her previous best of 13 set four days ago at Washington College. She's the first Mule goalie to record at least 13 saves in back-to-back games since 2011.
Schwartz made 14 of her saves in a scoreless first half, keeping the Owls off the board while defending 15 penalty corners.
Bryn Mawr, which has been to the Centennial Conference playoffs each of the last three years, broke the stalemate midway through the third quarter and added an insurance goal early in the fourth.
