A clash of undefeated, regionally ranked Centennial Conference men's soccer teams ended with nothing settled, as Muhlenberg and Haverford played to a 0-0 stalemate.
The Mules (8-0-8, 3-0-4) came into the game ranked fifth in Region V and receiving votes in the national top 25, while the Fords (9-0-8, 2-0-5) were ranked fourth in Region V. They were two of only 15 remaining undefeated teams in Division III.
With the tie, Muhlenberg set the school record for longest undefeated streak at 16 games, breaking the previous mark of 15 set when the 2010 team started out 9-0-6. The Mules also tied the school record of eight draws in a season, set by the 2022 CC championship squad.
Scoring opportunities were minimal in the closely contested game on a cool, windy day at Haverford, with each team managing only two shots on goal. Senior
Ben Mulford stopped both of the ones directed at him to notch his 27th career shutout and extend his unscored-upon streak to 633 minutes.
