The Muhlenberg volleyball team broke into the Centennial Conference win column with a 3-0 sweep at Bryn Mawr.
The Mules (9-13, 1-3) took control early and had a 12-6 lead in the first set before going on an 8-0 run with senior
Camila Leyes serving. Two runs of 6-0, with senior
Christina Marcin and sophomore
Abigail Oswari, keyed a 25-16 win in the second set, and Muhlenberg pulled away steadily to take the third set, 25-17.
Marcin
(pictured above) had a strong match, recording 16 kills in only 23 attempts. The .565 hitting percentage was the highest of her career in a match with at least 10 attempts.
The rest of the Mule attack was balanced, with Oswari putting down 6 kills to go along with 4 aces and junior
Natalia Agnolet adding 5 kills. Junior
Jenny Ryan (19) and sophomore
Maddy Budris (11) combined for 30 assists, while sophomore
Emma Laskaj led the defense with 10 digs.
