The Muhlenberg Mules gave the visiting Franklin & Marshall Diplomats all they could handle but ultimately fell short, dropping the Centennial Conference clash 3-1.
The hosts came out with a renewed vigor in the third set after losing both of the first two by eight points. It started with a 4-1 Muhlenberg lead from the jump, and the Mules rarely trailed for the rest of the set.
Abigail Oswari was a major factor throughout, tallying five of her nine kills during the bout.
Those nine kills were tied for second on the team with
Christina Marcin, who also had four service aces; that's the most aces she's had in a game since September 3, when she had four against Moravian.
Pacing the Mules with 10 kills was
Andrea Romero-Agosto (

Maddy Budris led Muhlenberg with 20 assists, her most in a match this season and one off of her career-high of 21 set against Neumann on October 1, 2024. She also recorded her second kill of the year.
