The Muhlenberg men's basketball team lost to Franklin & Marshall, 88-67, in its first home game of 2024.

The Mules (4-9, 3-3) never led in the game but were within four points, at 50-46, about seven minutes into the second half. The Diplomats (10-3, 5-1), who entered the game tied for first in the Centennial Conference, did not let Muhlenberg get any closer, scoring on 11 of their next 14 possessions to pull away.

Senior Giovanni Rubino led the Mules with 21 points, while junior Jayson Williams-Johnson added 16. Junior Luke Gordos came off the bench to score 9 points; those three players combined to go 17-of-17 on free throws.

Sophomore Drew Greene (pictured above) recorded 6 assists, increasing his season total to a team-leading 39.
