The Muhlenberg men's basketball team trailed for most of the game in a 73-50 loss at Dickinson.
Despite the loss, the Mules (6-12, 5-6) remained in fifth place in the Centennial Conference and in playoff position with seven games left in the regular season.Â
Down 17-14 with about eight minutes left in the first half, Muhlenberg took a three with a chance to tie the game. It missed, and the Red Devils (7-11, 4-7) proceeded to go on a 10-2 run that extended their lead to double digits. The spread was 14 at halftime, and the Mules never got closer than 10 points in the second half.
Junior
Jayson Williams-Johnson was the only Muhlenberg player in double figures, scoring 12 points. Freshman
Johnny Cotton netted the first five points of his career on a three and a pair of free throws.
