After winning its last two games on the road, the Muhlenberg men's basketball team suffered a 75-55 home loss to Johns Hopkins.
The Mules (6-11, 5-5) held the top-scoring team in the Centennial Conference to 35.7-percent shooting, but the Blue Jays (12-4, 9-1) had a huge advantage on the boards in extending their winning streak to 10 games.
Muhlenberg led 7-2 early on but made only one field goal in the final eight minutes of the first half and went into the break trailing 33-19. Hopkins led by 16 to 23 points throughout the second half.
Senior
Brandon Goldberg led the Mules with 14 points, while junior
Luke Gordos scored in double figures for the third straight game, netting 11 points.
Sophomore
Drew Greene (pictured above) scored seven points and took a pair of charges against much larger Blue Jay post players in the second half.
