The Muhlenberg women's soccer team fell 1-0 to Gettysburg in a tightly contested home game.

The Mules (2-6-2, 0-4) had a 7-6 advantage in shots, including a 3-1 edge in the second half. They came close to tying the score late in the first half, when junior Eliana Nelson-Levy pinged a direct kick off the crossbar.

Junior Jocelyn Mertz (pictured above) helped keep the Bullets (5-3-1, 3-1), a 2022 Centennial Conference playoff team, to one goal by making a defensive save. Freshman Caitlyn Philips made her first career start in goal and recorded two saves.
