The Muhlenberg women's soccer team fought back twice in a 5-2 loss at Haverford. 

After falling behind 2-0, the Mules (2-7-2, 0-5) cut the gap in half just before halftime when sophomore Abby Azzinnari put in a long shot for her first career goal.

Muhlenberg let in an own goal in the opening minute of the second half but responded quickly. Less than four minutes later, senior Casie Burke (pictured above) found classmate Paige Addis unmarked in the middle of the field in transition. Addis beat the Haverford goalie for her third career goal, making the score 3-2.

It was the first time since 2014 that the Mules netted two goals against Haverford, and the first time they scored twice at Haverford since 2009. The Fords (5-5-1, 1-3) kept Muhlenberg off the board for the rest of the game, however, putting in two more goals of their own.
