The Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team had a rough fourth quarter and fell at home to Ursinus, 23-13.
The fast-paced game was close for the first three quarters; the Bears (8-8, 4-4) led 10-8 at halftime and 15-12 after three. The Mules (11-4, 4-4) took three shots with a chance to tie the game in the third.
With the rain pouring down in the fourth quarter, however, Ursinus poured in the goals, connecting on its first eight shots to pull away.
Despite the loss, and even though they host eighth-ranked Gettysburg in their regular-season finale on Saturday, the Mules are still very much alive for their first Centennial Conference playoff berth since 2017. The Mules are in a three-way tie for fourth with Washington and Ursinus, a game ahead of two teams they have beaten this year in Swarthmore and Dickinson. The top six teams in the standings make the playoffs.
Junior

She now has 53 goals on the season, a total topped by only three different players in program history, and her fifth point, on an assist to junior
Lily Seifert late in the first half, gave her 100 career points.
Freshman
Ava Milia also recorded a hat trick with 3 goals, while senior
Samantha Eynon finished with 5 points on 2 goals and 3 assists.
Freshman
Abba Diglio (pictured above) scored a goal and matched a career high with 6 draw controls.
Despite suffering her first loss as a starter, freshman
