The Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team scored the first five goals of the game and went on to win at Franklin & Marshall, 13-7.
With the win - only their second ever in Lancaster, and their first since 2008 - the Mules (10-5, 5-3) clinched a Centennial Conference playoff berth for the second straight year. Muhlenberg completed its CC slate with the F&M game; its site and opponent for the playoffs will be determined during the final week of league games. The Mules are currently in fourth place, and if they remain in fourth, they will host a CC playoff game for the first time ever on Tuesday, May 2.
The Mules tied a school record, set in 2008 and matched last year, with their fifth CC win of the season. They also reached double digits in wins for the fourth time in program history and the third time in the last four complete seasons.
