Despite a 57-22 advantage in shots, the Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team fell at Haverford, 9-5.
The 19th-ranked Mules (9-5, 4-3) led 3-1 in the first minute of the second quarter but netted only one goal in the 36-plus minutes. By that point, the Fords (5-8, 3-3) had a 7-4 lead.

Jason Metz scored to bring Muhlenberg to within two at the 7:20 mark, but Haverford answered just 13 seconds later and did not allow another goal.

Jack Kraemer was involved in three of the Mules' five scores, with a pair of goals and an assist. Sophomore
Matthew Hochegger (pictured above) netted his first goal of the season, and classmate
Reed Thompson scored his second.

Matthew Regan led the defense with 4 ground balls and 3 caused turnovers.
The Mules are in fourth place in the Centennial Conference, tied in the loss column with Haverford and Franklin & Marshall, their opponent Saturday in their final CC game of the season.
