The Muhlenberg baseball team scored six runs in its first at-bat but fell at Neumann, 18-15.
Freshman
Thomas Pranzo and junior
Jonathan Suero each hit two-run singles in the top of the first, with Pranzo's coming on his first career hit. The Knights (8-15) came back with four in the third and three in the fourth to take an 8-7 lead.
It was 8-8 headed into the seventh before the Mules (12-14-1) erupted for five runs, capped by a three-run homer by sophomore
Brendan Hughes, his second round-tripper in as many days.
Neumann came back once again, however, with a grand slam highlighting a seven-run bottom of the seventh.
