The Muhlenberg men's basketball team shot just 35.9 percent in a 77-61 loss at Dickinson.

The Mules (12-8, 7-6), who rank second in the Centennial Conference in shooting percentage, led 17-15 midway through the first half but made just five field goals in 21 attempts the rest of the half. The Red Devils (5-15, 3-10) closed the half on an 11-2 run to take an 11-point lead into the break, and the Mules never got closer than 10 points in the second half.

Graduate student Dan Gaines scored 16 points for Muhlenberg, while junior Giovanni Rubino added 11. Senior Tommy McGuire pulled down 8 rebounds and set a career high with 5 blocked shots.

With five games remaining in the regular season, the Mules still have a two-game lead in the CC standings over Haverford and Franklin & Marshall, who are tied for the sixth and final playoff spot.
