In the final Muhlenberg athletic contest of 2023, men's basketball fell to Hamilton, 89-70.
The Continentals, who advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last year, made nine three-pointers in the first half and took a 20-point lead into the locker room. The Mules got as close as 13 points midway through the second half but could put any further dent into the deficit.
Senior
Giovanni Rubino scored exactly half of Muhlenberg's 44 second-half points and finished with 29, tying his season high. One day after recording his first career double-double, senior
Brandon Goldberg netted his second, finishing with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Junior
Jayson Williams-Johnson also hit double figures for the second day in a row, scoring 16.
Freshman
Michael Feroci (pictured above), making his first career start, contributed 6 points and 6 rebounds.
The Mules are 3-7 through their first 10 games, with five of their losses coming to teams that played in the NCAA Tournament last year and one other coming to 9-2 DeSales.
