The Muhlenberg women's basketball team scored 40 points in the middle two quarters and went on to win at Bryn Mawr, 66-43.
The Mules (6-1, 1-1) led by only three points after the first period but shot 9-of-14 from three-point range over the final three.Â
A trey by junior
Emily Unger late in the first half gave Muhlenberg a nine-point lead, and a 7-0 run to start the second half, capped by another Unger triple, extended the margin to 16. The Mules eventually stretched their advantage to 25 points en route to their 52nd win against the Owls (2-4, 0-2) in as many all-time meetings.
Unger led Muhlenberg with 15 points, going 3-for-5 from beyond the arc. Junior
Ava Connolly scored 9 points to go along with 4 assists and 3 steals, while senior
Caroline Horst (pictured above) added 8 points.
