The Muhlenberg men's basketball team ran into a hot-shooting Moravian squad and dropped its home opener, 83-66.
Despite shooting 2-for-15 from three-point range in the first half, the Mules (1-1) trailed by only two points at the break.
Junior
Jayson Williams-Johnson hit a floater in the first minute of the second half to even the game at 30-all, but the Greyhounds (2-0) made five straight three-pointers over the next four minutes to open up a double-digit lead. Muhlenberg never got closer than seven points the rest of the way.
Senior
Giovanni Rubino led all scorers with 29 points, making a career-high 13 field goals. Williams-Johnson
(pictured above) finished with 16.
Moravian went 10-of-15 on threes for the game and shot 68.0 percent from the field in the second half.
