Playing their third consecutive game against a nationally ranked team, the Muhlenberg field hockey team nearly pulled off the upset.
The Mules (4-6, 1-3) led 1-0 with less than five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, but 23rd-ranked Bryn Mawr tied the score, then netted a goal 2:28 into overtime for a 2-1 win.

Erin DiSandro opened the scoring midway through the second quarter by poking the ball past the goalie for her sixth goal of the season.
Muhlenberg's defense made the goal stand up for the majority of the remaining time, successfully defending 11 penalty corners before the Owls (6-4, 1-2) finally broke through.
