The Muhlenberg men's soccer team ended its regular-season home schedule with a 1-0 win against Cabrini.
The Mules (10-3-2), who close out the regular season with a Centennial Conference game at McDaniel on Saturday, will return to Varsity Field for a first-round CC playoff game next Tuesday.
Junior
Jake Mendelson, making his first start of the season, scored the lone goal of the game in the 17th minute after some nifty passing. Junior
Kevin Adams sent the ball down the right sideline to senior
Caleb Herring, who beat his man to the corner and served a cross into the box, where Mendelson
(pictured above left, celebrating with Brandin Osborne) had an easy putaway.
The defense did not allow a shot on goal or corner kick in recording its eighth shutout of the season.
The win gave Muhlenberg double figures in wins in the regular season for the first time since 2014.
