The Muhlenberg men's soccer team closed out its regular season with a 1-0 win at McDaniel.

The win, combined with Dickinson's 4-2 win against Johns Hopkins, gave the Mules (11-3-2, 5-2-2) the third seed for the Centennial Conference playoffs. They will host Dickinson in a first-round game on Tuesday at a time to be determined.

The lone goal of the game came in the 28th minute after senior Chris Richards drew a foul in the Green Terror end of the field. Junior Evan Schlotterbeck (pictured above) took a shot on the ensuing free kick, forcing the McDaniel goalie to make a leaping save. Senior Luke Feeney tapped in the rebound for his third goal of the season.

Muhlenberg had a 15-2 edge in shots. The defense allowed only one shot on goal, and it came from distance late in the second half, in recording its ninth shutout of the season.
