The Muhlenberg women's basketball team fell behind early and could not catch up in falling at Haverford, 66-53.
The Fords (12-5, 9-3), who have won two of the last three Centennial Conference championships, scored on their first four possessions to open up a 9-0 lead.
The Mules (7-8, 6-4) closed to within four late in the first quarter but spent the majority of the game trailing by 7-13 points.
Down 58-51 with 5:45 left following a three-pointer by freshman
Katie McGrath, Muhlenberg made four straight defensive stops but could not convert on the other end, and Haverford closed out the win.

(pictured above) recorded her sixth double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds. She now has career totals of 812 points and 509 rebounds, making her the 14th player in program history to top 800 points and 500 rebounds.
Sophomore
Ava Connolly finished with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists, while McGrath scored 10 and junior
Caroline Horst tied her career high with 10 points.
