The Mules (3-3-1) broke the ice with 3:13 left in the first half after junior
Zack Mikuta sent a long ball down the field. A Cougar back tried to shield freshman
Elie Khalil from the ball near the edge of the box so the goalie could pick it up. but Khalil found his way to the ball anyway and chipped it into the back of the net for his first career goal.
The Cougars (3-1-3), who are ranked fifth in Region IV, scored the equalizer at the 1:26 mark.
Both teams had chances to score in the second half, but neither could. Freshman
