The Muhlenberg field hockey team finished a tough stretch of its schedule with a 3-1 loss at Bryn Mawr.
The Mules (5-9, 3-5) played three straight road games against Haverford, Johns Hopkins and Bryn Mawr, dropping the three games by a total of four goals.
Bryn Mawr (12-2, 6-1), which is in second place in the Centennial Conference and is just outside the top 20 in the Division III poll, scored goals in the first, third and fourth quarters. Freshman
Abba Diglio (pictured above) netted the lone goal for Muhlenberg early in the fourth quarter cutting the gap to 2-1 with her team-leading seventh goal of the season.Â
Junior
Taylor Canfield made a defensive save for the second game in a row.
With two games remaining in the regular season, Muhlenberg is in eighth place in the CC. The Mules close their CC schedule with home games against two of the teams ahead of them in the standings, Washington (4-3) and Franklin & Marshall (6-1), and can play their way back into the playoff picture.
