The Muhlenberg women's basketball team fell behind early and lost on the road to Johns Hopkins, 79-34.
The Blue Jays (13-2, 10-1), who have not lost a game since November, scored the first 10 points of the game and led 17-2 at one point in the first quarter. Muhlenberg faced an identical deficit in Wednesday's home game against Haverford and came back to cut the margin to one, but this time Hopkins made too many shots to let the Mules back into the game.
Sophomore
Abigail Scheidel scored in double figures for the second straight game, finishing with 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting. Senior
Amanda Gorski added 8 points.
Senior
Tori Dowd (pictured above) tied her career high of 4 steals for the second straight game.
