The Muhlenberg volleyball team fell at Cabrini in three close sets, 25-22, 25-20, 25-23.
In the first set, the Mules (2-2) were within 23-22 before the Cavaliers scored the last two points. In the third set, Muhlenberg rallied from a 20-16 deficit to take a 23-22 lead, but Cabrini closed out the match by scoring the final three points.
Freshman
Esmae Oehler led the Muhlenberg attack with 8 kills, one more than senior
Megan Ray. Sophomore
Alyssa Faville, who entered the day leading the Centennial Conference in digs, added 14 to her total. Freshman
Brooke Shiver had 4 kills and 3 blocks.
Muhlenberg retirns home to host the Buttermaker Tournament this Friday and Saturday.
