The Muhlenberg women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 Centennial Conference matchup at Franklin & Marshall.
The Mules (0-5-1, 0-2), who have faced tough competition to start the season, held their own before the Diplomats (6-0-1, 1-0-1) scored the go-ahead goal towards the end of the first half. The Diplomats netted a second goal later on in the second half to solidify the victory.
Three of the first six opponents the Mules have faced so far this season are regionally ranked, including McDaniel and Franklin & Marshall, who are ranked third and eighth in Region V.
