The Muhlenberg field hockey team lost to Scranton, 1-0, in a Sunday makeup of the scheduled season opener.
The Royals (5-0) scored the lone goal off a penalty corner with just 22.6 seconds left in the first half and kept the Mules (2-3) off the board in the final 30 minutes.
Muhlenberg's defense did a good job holding Scranton to just seven shots in the game. The Royals averaged more than 16 shots in their first four wins.
Eight of the last 10 meetings between the two teams have been decided by one goal.Â
