The Muhlenberg women's soccer team put up a strong effort against one of the hottest teams in Division III.

McDaniel, undefeated, unscored-upon and fresh off a 1-0 upset of Messiah, the top-ranked team in the country, netted a goal in each half to hand the Mules a 2-0 loss. 

The score was 1-0 for the majority of the game, until the Green Terror converted a penalty kick for an insurance goal with about 15 minutes remaining.

Freshman Sara Pecorelli (pictured above) made eight saves, one off her high, to keep the score close.
