The Muhlenberg volleyball team fell 3-1 at Scranton in a match that featured one of the longest sets in program history.
The Mules (5-4) dropped the third set, 37-35. They've only ever had one set go longer - a 44-42 marathon vs. Mary Washington in 2006. That match was played with 30-point scoring, so this was the longest set in program history played with 25-point scoring.

Alyssa Faville. The Royals (7-2) stayed alive by scoring the next three points, and then the teams went back and forth. Each team served five times with a chance to win the set before Scranton finally did.
The Mules were within 17-16 in the closely contested fourth set before Scranton pulled away to close out the match with a 25-20 win.
