The Muhlenberg men's soccer team remained undefeated with a 1-0 home win against DeSales.

Senior Stephen Carton, whose tying goal with 6:58 left in regulation led to a Mule overtime win at DeSales in the teams' last meeting in 2019, again provided the late heroics. He broke a scoreless tie with 14:43 left in regulation after pass from freshman Evan Schlotterbeck went off the head of junior Francois D'Elia and into the box. Carton fought through two Bulldogs defenders to get to the ball first and beat the DeSales goalie for his seventh career goal.

For the second time in four games this season, the Muhlenberg defense allowed only one shot on goal. Junior Brednan Duffy (pictured above) saved it for his second shutout of the season, lowering his goals-against average to 0.24. The Mules (3-0-1) held the Bulldogs (1-4) to just one shot in the final 27 minutes.
