Megan Ray was named to the all-tournament team as the Muhlenberg volleyball team split two matches on the second day of the Buttermaker Tournament.
The Mules (5-3) swept Penn State Abington before falling to Neumann in four sets to go 3-1 in their first home matches of the season.
Ray narrowly missed her first career double-double in the Penn State Abington match, putting down a match-high 11 kills and tying a career high with 9 digs. Muhlenberg won 25-19, 25-16, 25-13, using a 15-1 run to put the match away in the third set.
Sophomore
Isabella Pontrelli (pictured above) contributed to the offense with a career-high 8 kills against Penn State Abington.
Muhlenberg split the first two sets against Neumann before running out of steam. Ray led Muhlenberg again with 9 kills, while freshman
Rachel Jacobs hit .400 with 7 kills in only 15 attempts,
