The Muhlenberg men's soccer team got back on the winning track with a 3-0 home shutout of Moravian.
Junior
Tarin Morris had a hand in all three goals and sophomore
Zach Matik notched a shutout in his first career start as the Mules (5-4-1) snapped their four-game skid and extended their unbeaten break against the Greyhounds to 18 (16-0-2).
Senior
Stephen Carton opened the scoring in the 12th minute, taking a pass from Morris near the corner of the box and slotting the ball inside the far post for his second goal of the season.
The score remained 1-0 through the rest of the first half, but Muhlenberg put the game away by scoring twice in the first 6:25 of the second half.
Morris drew a foul in the box exactly three minutes into the second half, and junior
Chris Richards buried the penalty kick. It was the 15th career goal for Richards, who reached the mark of 40 career points in only 30 games.
Richards made it 42 career points shortly thereafter, converting a pass from Morris to cement his third career multiple-goal game.
Matik kept Moravian (5-6-1) off the board with three saves to become the second Mule goalie this season to record a shutout in his first career start.
