The Muhlenberg women's soccer team trailed only 1-0 with under 20 minutes to play, but a trio of goals in quick succession gave Johns Hopkins a 4-0 win.
The Blue Jays (12-0-2, 8-0), ranked second in Division III, scored their first goal in the 24th minute. That solitary goal stood up until Hopkins netted three in a span of less than three minutes.
Freshman
Sara Pecorelli stopped a point-blank shot in the first half, and junior
Emily DeAngelo made an outstanding tackle in the box to stop a breakaway in the second half.
The Mules (3-11-1, 1-7) had their two-match winning streak snapped.
