The Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team opened its 2020 season with an impressive 15-4 win at FDU-Florham.
The Mules dominated from start to finish, scoring three goals in the first 5:16 and building a 13-2 lead early in the fourth quarter. The 11-goal margin was the highest ever for Muhlenberg in a season-opening road game.

PJ Lombara tied a career high with four goals, all in the first half. Juniors
Alexander Giaquinto and
Ethan Grossman and sophomores
James Dalimonte and
Matt Marrella netted a pair of goals apiece.
Giaquinto
(pictured above), a defensive midfielder, scored the Mules' first goal of the season less than two minutes into the game after the defense forced a turnover. He added a second goal for the first time in his career later in the game off a pass from junior
Matt Hager.
Sophomore
Brett Friedman and freshman
Tre Freeman each scored their first career goals, while junior
Anthony Scozzafava and freshman
Jason Metz recorded assists for their first career points.
Junior
Matt Burke went 11-for-15 in the faceoff X. Senior Garret Pope made nine saves.
